Truth -for Hannako-I don’t know that I’ve ever told the whole truth.  The whole, unadulterated truth.  Not even a truth as pure as possible given the innate errors of perception.  That isn’t to say I always lie.  At a young age, I learned I could lie my way through anything. Once I knew that, lying just didn’t have a point.  Not to say I never lie, but it’s a rare enough occasion these days.  I rely on word choice, inflection, body language, intonation; the many tricks of storytelling.  Spin the words the right way and you can mean anything. So this first time I heard about this I thought it was called Nano Rhino. Anyway, NaNoWriMo (nanawrimo.org) starts November 1st and I'm going to give it a go. The idea is that people all over the world try to write a 50,000 word continuous story during the month and anyone that does it "wins." It's not about creating a piece of ground breaking literature, that's basically impossible in just a month, you just work on composing a single story every day and get the SFD (Shitty First Draft) out.
Any one interested should give it a try, nothing to lose and it'll be easier to stay motivated with a group of people all struggling through it. Either way, stay on me about it.
